Remarks
Presence of AA genotype of rs838133 (alt. allele G) and GG genotype of rs838145 (alt. allele A) in subjects were observed to be associated with significantly higher salt and vitamin C intake. Higher intake of vitamin A was noted in subjects with AA genotype of rs838133 and female subjects with the same genotype had significantly higher intake of carbohydrates, vitamin C, D, B1, B2, and B6 compared to other genotypes. rs838145 mentioned as FGF21 variant in the publication - its an IZUMO1 variant.
