Issued the Centre for Arab Genomic Studies, off Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences - in a follow-up release database of genetic disorders in the Arab world and known as CTGA in 2004 for the database user guide.

This was done in order to keep pace with the growth of the database of genetic disorders in the Arab world and known as CTGA over the past two years, both on the content level or at the level of the user base has expanded around the world. The purpose of the User's Guide is intended to be guidance of persons who may wish to use the data for their own research base.

In his class primer, an introduction summary of the Internet as well as how to extract data on the Internet, before it is to explain the structure and the importance of the database of genetic disorders in the Arab world known as the guide provides CTGA particular manner easily understood even by people who are new to the world of search data via the Internet, and most importantly, is that the user guide instructs users - step by step - on the use of built-in search engine in the database CTGA to extract useful information; has a number of practical examples in different parts of the directory, which makes it easy very understanding of the various search strategies.

Also located in the user manual is also a practical guide for the use of a special form to send the data to the database CTGA . This part of the guide and involves private researchers, doctors and scientists clinical geneticists who may wish to provide the resulting research data into the database importance. The guide also provides examples of some important records in the database as a reference.

Since its inception in 2003, the Centre for Arab Genomic Studies work on achieving a better understanding of genetic disorders suffered by the Arab population.
