الاتحاد الدولي للمستشفيات يكرم روادًا في الطب من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة

International Hospital Federation of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the best figure in the world in health, education and sports areas for the period 2001-2005 Karam. Sheikh Hamdan, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry and Chairman of Health and Medical Services Department, is the first Arab figure awarded this honor.

Prof. Najib Al Khaja is currently the director of cardiology center and cardio-thoracic surgery at Dubai Hospital, who is also professor and chair of surgery Academy Department and Deputy Dean of the Dubai Medical College and a member of the Board of Trustees and the Secretary General of the Award, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences. Dr. Khaja is also a consultant visits to the center of the heart and chest in Monaco, a member of the Scandinavian Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular and International College of blood vessels and the Saudi Heart Association Emirates Medical Association and the European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery Asian Association for cardiothoracic surgery, blood vessels and member of the editorial Emirates Medical Journal and the Arab Council for Studies Authority Higher; it is also a member of the Third World Academy of Sciences. In 1999, Professor Al Khaja was awarded the "Best Employee of the Year" by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in Dubai; also received a special for its creation of cardiac surgery and its distinctive role in this area in Dubai Hospital under the Health and Medical Services Department of the Dubai Health Authority Award.

Dr. Mahmoud Talib Al Ali is a consultant and head of Genetics Genetics Center at Al Wasl Hospital in Dubai, which is also the Arab Centre for Genetic Studies director. Dr. Al-Ali is a part-time assistant in the Department of Biochemistry professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University. Dr. Al Ali graduated in Laboratory Medicine of the University of Kentucky in the United States and earned a doctorate in molecular biochemistry and endocrinology at the University of London Medical School. At present, Dr. Ali Al participate in laboratory diagnosis and research on inherited metabolic diseases, has set up a section of the metabolic genetics service to the region.
