Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, hosted a Farewell Ceremony for Dr. Ghazi Tadmouri, Assistant Director of the Award’s Centre for Arab Genomic Studies (CAGS), on the occasion of concluding his works in Dubai and moving to work in Lebanon.

 

The ceremony which was held at Sofitel Hotel, Deira City Center, was attended by the staff of the Award, Prof. Najib Al Khaja, Secretary-General and President of CAGS, Dr. Mahmoud Taleb Al Ali, Director of CAGS, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hashimi, a member of the Award’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Youssef Abdul Razzaq Chairman of the Award’s Scientific Committee, and Mr. Abdullah Bin Souqat, Executive Director.

 

The ceremony’s attendees expressed their happiness to work with Dr. Ghazi Tadmouri throughout the past fruitful eight years, wishing him all success in his new job.

 

Also, Dr. Tadmouri thanked them all and said: "I will go back to my homeland Lebanon with great and beautiful memories which I gained from staying in the United Arab Emirates, and it is out of my pleasure to continue working in CAGS from there", he added.
